Terms & Conditions


All users of this site agree that access to and use of this site are subject to the following Terms & Conditions and other applicable law. If you do not agree to these T&C’s, please do not use this site.


ORDERING: Ordering must be placed online via our secure online ordering system. For orders to be delivered outside of the UK, it is advised to discuss your order by email before placing it. You may also call to collect goods with prior arrangement and agreed notice and having already place the order for goods online, goods may not be collected any other way. 
Remember all orders need to be received by 11am in order to be processed and dispatched that day during Monday to Friday. Fridays dispatch will be for Monday delivery unless otherwise arranged but this may incur an additional cost from the courier.

Please note when you add products to your shopping cart they will NOT be taken off stock until you complete the checkout process and complete your order… Having items in your shopping cart will not guarantee you get the products as you can be beaten to the checkout by another franchise.

DELIVERY: Delivery is with our regular courier of 5 years, Swift Despatch. We pass all our costs for your deliveries on to you in a separate invoice to the goods. Should you wish to use your own courier you may do so as long as it abides by our Collections terms.

COLLECTIONS: Goods can be collected only if you clearly agree this on your order under the “additional notes” section. You must specify the date of collection. Should you not collect the goods at this date and time, the goods will be restocked and you will incur a 5% restocking cost to have them again if you want them. We do not have the space for goods to be picked and left in the despatch bay, this is incredibly disruptive.

ALTERNATIVES: There are several items that are very similar to another, mostly in the floral department. If we cannot fulfil your order as requested we will use our discretion ad supply an alternative, similar product. We will notify you if this happens.

PRICES: Prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and exclude Value Added Tax (VAT) at UK rates, currently 2021 at 20%.

PAYMENTS: We accept most major credit or debit cards over the phone and BACS payments. There is a 2% admin charge for Credit Card payments. If making a direct bank transfer you must notify us as you are doing it so we can look out for the incoming money.

CANCELLATIONS: If an order is placed and you then cancel it after it has been picked we will charge you a 5% restocking charge for having to handle it and time wasted.

CREDIT: Credit is STRICTLY 30 DAYS NETT days from the date of the order being placed. If your account is overdue, the only way you will be able to receive more goods is either clear your account or pay for your new order immediately by cash, BACS or by credit card.

RETURNS: You can return any item for a refund or you can exchange it for a different product or colour within 7 days of receiving your original order for a restocking charge of 5%. Please contact Margi immediately if this is required. All goods will be inspected on return, and they are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse, so make sure it’s packed up properly and won’t get damaged on the way! We will refund the value of the goods, excluding any delivery charges.

DAMAGED OR FAULTY ITEMS: This must be reported to Mark Gateson or at mark.gateson@thechristmasdecorators.com immediately after the receipt of the goods and no later than 24hours. We advise that every deliver received is checked immediately. You must let us know what the fault is and we will provide you with an immediate replacement. We will be responsible for the collection of any faulty goods or bear the costs.

CLAIMS: Goods that are lost or damaged in transit must be reported to us immediately with photographic proof of any damage. For missing deliveries please first check that the courier has not left a note at your premises and remember you are responsible for collecting goods from the nearest depot should you miss a delivery. Delivery is by a courier who is third party company from The Christmas Decorators (Franchising) LTD. We cannot be held responsible for any late deliveries.

CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSES: We cannot accept liability for consequential losses made by late delivery or damaged/faulty products.
