F.A.Q's

Question: Can I use a plug-lead and rectifier if I can't find or break the transformer?
Answer: No, please contact head office to arrange a replacement transformer. You will destroy the light chain if you use a plug-lead and rectifier.

Question: Can I connect it to other products like tree, lights and wreaths?
Answer: Yes, however these must also be in low voltage. If you connect it to regular mains garland, string light, wreaths etc you will destroy the lights. You can only connect to older 24v trees. 
 
Question: I have mixed my low voltage garlands with my regular mains voltage garlands, how can I tell them apart?
Answer: Look for the (Low Voltage) marking on the male/female connector. 

Question: Can I use the garland outdoor?
Answer:  Yes, suitable for internal/external use. After Christmas store your greenery away from direct sunlight or UV exposure.


Question: The lights twinkle, how can I make them static?
Answer:  You can a2Chip controller to provide additional functionality. This includes flash/static/warm-white/ice-white/timer/breathing. (SKU: TCD006643)

Question: How many can I connect?
Answer: 
  • Small transformer: 8 lengths max inline, 12 with a Y-Connector or 5-Way Ring
  • Large transformer: 8 lengths max inline, 20 with a 5-Way Ring
